Sneaky little Leprechaun

Well the kids did not catch the Leprechaun and were so very disappointed (they had big plans for the pot of gold.) Despite their best efforts of setting up their traps (Leah's is on the left and Sam's is on the right) leaving out a cookie and a cup of water, putting the toilet seat down (the leprechaun turned the toilet water green last year) and eventually falling asleep so that the house was quiet so he would come. The leprechaun turned out to be cheekier than ever. He used Leah paper clip chain to get out of Sam's trap. The kids spent most of the morning discussing how next year they are going to make it fool proof, like not put their traps next to each other.

Sam was immensely bummed he did not catch the Leprechaun.

He even turned our milk green much to Ian's displeasure since he could not have his cup of milk in the morning.
So after much deliberation we have come to the conclusion that the one or two Leprechauns that came to our home were the sneakiest little scalawags around.

They must be the offspring of the leprechauns that came to Alvarado Rd in Carpinteria every year, because we never caught them either.
