Don't tell the boys.....

Don't tell the boys but us girls kick butt. If we put our minds to something we just get it done. Take our garage for example, it has the amazing ability to collect everything that we don't want in the house thus resulting in a two car sized room that looks like it has a 24/7 on-going magnet for crap. Which really is not crap but when you have everything from our kitchen sink (literally) to camping stuff, to a sand box, to a poker table, to 2 strollers and a crib it really does all turn into the appearance of crap. So Ian, bless him, will go into the garage feel overwhelmed, spend 25 min measuring, anchoring, then hanging a shovel, go inside to go online to see what Home Depot has for outside storage solutions. Then there is me who gets so annoyed with the appearance of crap growth coming out of the walls and slowly taking over the entire middle of the garage will just go in and kick butt, placing everything that needs to be thrown out outside of the garage for Ian to deal with. :) So yeah in the words of Forrest Gump, "that is all I have to say about that."

On to other news, hmmmm I put Sam back onto a daily schedule. He seems to be a happier kid when he know what is coming and what he is supposed to be doing throughout the day. The hard job is me, I do not necessarily like schedules and prefer to take things as they come and deal with things as they go but hey having a kid tends to place your preferences for life on the back burner. Emma has become obsessed with Dora and when she is not watching it will sing her Dora song for Dora. And Leah, well Leah is Leah, spent the first half of Valentines day disappointed cause "we were just not doing lovely and loving stuff (aka going out to eat, renting movies, doing whatever she wanted to do) all day and so she did not feel all the love that she was supposed to be feeling on Valentines Day" I told her to go put her feet up and take it easy for a while (by herself) and then hopefully after that she would feel better. Thankfully it worked and she spent the rest of the day being her happy, cheerful, loving self. It is amazing how taking the focus off of yourself can help change your level of happiness. If you do not know what I am talking about just spend a day with Leah.
Ok I hear Emma tearing something up so am going to run... Happy Wednesday everyone
