At our home there are numerous strange sightings that occur. Some are unexplainable and when you blink and turn around to take another look the strange sightings have disappeared or changed back into cute little kids. These are just of few of the captured ones...

She acts and looks like a cute 8 year old but beware there are signs of a 15 year old girl in the making, including mood swings and what you could only explain as pms. Cling to the 8 year old Leah... we believe in you.

My Life As a Bird Watcher:
Today I watched a humming bird flutter up real close to me, while I was on the porch, look right at me and pooped then flew away. It was almost like it was double dog dared to do it.
I watched while a woodpecker, two bluebirds and a mo-hock(sp?) bird (I do not know their name but they sport the cutest mo-hocks) all worked away on the same fence post. The mo-hock bird sat on top keeping look out while the woodpecker pecked at the wood and the two bluebirds were at the root of the post poking and pecking away. Never seen three different types of birds interact together before. So glad to see no racial birds in our yard despite one wearing black, one a red bandanna, and two sporting all blue.
Other news on the bird front: There is a gang of quail teenagers that swoop through our territory sending the little quail families (we have two) into hiding. Thankfully no pecks have been heard but their squaking and continual cooing is sending fear through us all. Really there is a group of 9 of them that take first picks of the front yard in the morning. Will keep you updated....
