Hi everybody, nothing really funny to say but just thought that I would post some pics of this week.
Here we have Ian showing Sam how to cool down.
Sam thought it was great and he felt so much cooler that he thought he should cool Emma down cause she looked hot. Emma did not think it was such a great idea.
Emma is content to gaze out on the world. She is great at staying on the porch and screeching out when ever she sees a bird or a squirrel.
While at the park Sam called me over to the batting cages and said, "I put myself in jail so that you would not have to worry where I am." Isn't that sweet, he thinks that I worry where he is, little does he know that when we are at the park alone cause nobody is crazy like us to go to the park when it is 95 outside I do not care where he is.
For some reason I just love this shot of Hawthorne. He was thirsty but kept choking on the water cause it was falling down his throat instead of him lapping it up. Emma thought it was hysterical every time he would get a drink and then go off coughing.
These shots are Emma and her dog. She really loves Hawthorne to no end and whenever she sees him laying there she will sit down and back up into him till she is as close to him as can be. He takes it all in stride until she starts pulling on his ears and then he will slowly back up and move away from her.
Picnic at the park. I had put the kids names on their sandwich bags and Aiden thought it was great... so great that he did not want to eat his sandwich cause he just wanted to carry his bag around that had HIS name on it. Mind you he had no problem eating the fruit snacks, crackers, walermellon and drinking his juice but God forbid if he was going to eat his sandwich.
Yep so that was the long and short of our week. The kids had vbs in the evening this week and it was a hard adjustment for us not to be going to bed till after 9 and despite the late nights they still got up at the usual time in the morning, all this equals grumpy kids and grumpy mom. Although the kids learned some wonderful and interesting things at the vbs... I will have to share with you on another blog. Next week they have vbs from 9-12 in the morning.. Yeah
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
