Life is awkward when.......
Your mom and you do not always speak the same language and you are dying to tell on your siblings.
When you are a wild baby quail and a girl in a bright pink shirt is holding you.
When there is only one bowl for two cousins to share.
Or when there is only one hose for the two boy cousins to share.
When your clothes and snow boots are wet and you are walking up our steep driveway carrying rocks and sopping wet.
When you have these adorable curls and have some major social issues. Although I did have an older lady ask me how long it took me to curl her hair or if I just had her sleep in the curlers.
And finally life is awkward when the flip flops that you insist on wearing just do not fit.
