Leah started a story that began with, "once upon a time there was a crocodile that ate a chicken", "no" said Sam, "once upon a time there was a chicken that ate a crocodile."
"Ok", said Leah "and the chicken said sorry as she took her first bite cause really chickens do not eat crocodiles cause crocodiles are bigger than chickens." "Yeah" followed Sam, "but the crocodile did not hear the chicken say it was sorry cause it was already dead and the rooster had cut off its head so its ears didn't work." Leah- "and then the baby chicks came in and asked what is for dinner and the chicken said do you want a tail or a leg" Sam- "but the baby chicks did not want a tail or a leg they just wanted a worm not something that is hard and ugly and scary." Leah- "and then the rooster and the chicken said next time we will just let the crocodile eat you instead of you getting to eat it"
Sam- "mom can I have something to eat" (I do not know how he would get hungry over a story about a chicken eating a crocodile)
Leah- "do you want a tail or a leg?"
On another note, I never realized how often I say "uh oh" until Emma learned to say it. We have uh ohs coming out of our woodwork.
